The Morino Institute respects your privacy. Any personal information that you
provide to the Morino Institute or any programs of the Morino Institute through
its Web sites, including Morino.org, YouthLearn.org, and Netpreneur.org, will
be used and safeguarded as described below. If you have any questions, please
do not hesitate to contact us at info@morino.org.
HOW MORINO INSTITUTE COLLECTS AND
USES INFORMATION ABOUT YOU
1. Resale or disclosure of information
to third parties
Some of the Morino Institute Web sites maintain mailing list databases of
personally identifiable information that users voluntarily supply (e.g. names,
email addresses, phone numbers, street addresses and areas of interest).
This information is used to inform those who have opted to receive news and
information about our organization's events or to pre-populate forms with
your information (e.g. on the Netpreneur Web site, http://netpreneur.org).
Morino Institute does not sell, rent or lease any personal information collected
through our sites. On occasion, we may share personal information with other
organizations who have similar missions and activities to ours. For example,
we may share a subset of our list with another organization that works to
increase the capacity of nonprofit organizations. Morino Institute also may
share personal information with other programs of the Morino Institute or
with affiliated organizations.
Some Morino Institute Web sites, such as http://netpreneur.org,
contain their own privacy policies. Accordingly, we encourage you to visit
the privacy policies on each Morino Institute Web site that you visit to ensure
that you understand how your personally identifiable information will be used.
If you do not want Morino Institute to share your personal information, you
can opt out by contacting us at info@morino.org.
To change your personal information in our database, please email us at info@morino.org
or change your profile in the Netpreneur site.
2. Use of "cookies"
Some Morino Institute Web
sites, including http://netpreneur.org,
may use a feature called a "cookie" to assign a unique identification
to your computer when you log in to the site. Cookies are small data files
that Web sites write to your hard drive when you visit them in order for the
site to recognize you as logged in. When you visit a Morino Institute Web
site, Morino Institute may record information about your User ID, browser and IP address in its Web site logs. Morino Institute analyzes its Web
site logs to constantly improve the value of the materials available on our
sites. Any information collected is used to identify problems or improve our
services and Web site content. Morino Institute
cannot use "cookies" to retrieve personal information about you
from your computer.
Some of our sites have
LISTSERV® archives associated with LISTSERV® lists that you may join. To view
a LISTSERV® archive, you must provide your email address and password. LISTSERV®
offers you the option of saving your email address and password in a cookie
on your computer. You do not have to select this option to view the archives
3. Information from email
If you choose to email
us and provide personally identifiable information about yourself, we will
not use the information for any purpose other than to respond to your inquiry.
ACCESS TO YOUR INFORMATION
Upon request we provide site visitors with access to all information, including
proprietary information, that we maintain about them. Users can access this
information by emailing us at info@morino.org.
If you feel that this site is not following its stated information policy,
you may contact us at info@morino.org.
SECURITY
Morino Institute recognizes that your privacy is important to
you, and, therefore, we employ technical security measures that endeavour
to protect information from outside threats. However, Morino Institute, its
affiliates and their service providers do not represent, warrant or guarantee
that personal information will be protected against unauthorized access, loss,

submitted to them nor for your or third parties’ use or misuse of personal
information. |
